Florida State
87.8

FSU (14-0, 9-0 ACC) is the clear national champion, remaining undefeated against the likes of Auburn, Clemson, and Duke.
Best Game: Their 63-0 victory over Maryland was mathematically their best game, but their 51-14 win over rival Clemson all but wrapped up a trip to the ACC Championship.
Worst Game: Getting out-rushed by Boston College and only beating the Eagles by 14 is the closest this team got to a low spot.

2
+1
Auburn
71.2

Auburn (12-2, 8-1 SEC) lost the national championship, but the Tigers kept it close and showed they deserved being runners-up.
Best Game: Beating Mizzou 59-42 and out-rushing them by 314(!) yards in the SEC Championship Game punched their ticket to the National Championship.
Worst Game: The math says that only beating Mississippi State by 4 was the Tigers' worst, but the 14-point loss to LSU is close.

3
-1
Ohio State
70.9

The Buckeyes (12-2, 8-1 B1G) fell apart at the end of their season, culminating in a 5-point loss to Clemson in the Orange Bowl.
Best Game: A 63-14 walloping of Penn State
Worst Game: The math counts the Orange Bowl as OSU's worst game, largely based on the fact that this was their only game where they were out-rushed by their opponent.

4
+2
Oregon
70.8

Bama (11-2, 7-1 SEC) was upset by Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl, losing 45-31.
Best Game: A 52-0 beat-down of Arkansas

Worst Game: A 49-17 loss to Oklahoma State that nearly cost the Bears the Big 12

7
+1
Missouri
64.4

Mizzou (12-2, 7-2 SEC) came out of nowhere this season and ended with a respectable 41-31 win over Oklahoma State in the Cotton Bowl.
Best Game: Tiger fans might call the win over Georgia that set Mizzou atop the SEC East their best, but the math says their 31-3 victory over Tennessee is.
Worst Game: The SEC Championship, where Mizzou lost 59-42 to Auburn and allowed 545(!) rushing yards

8
-1
Stanford
64.3

Stanford (11-3, 8-2 Pac-12) lost to Michigan State 24-20 in the Rose Bowl.
Best Game: The Pac-12 Championship Game, where Stanford easily bested Arizona State 38-14, is first, though the Cardinal's second-best, a 6-point victory over Oregon, deserves a mention.
Worst Game: Only beating a subpar Army squad 34-20

9
+1
Michigan State
61.5

MSU (13-1, 9-0 B1G) won the Rose Bowl, but their résumé from earlier in the season keeps Sparty at #9.

Worst Game: Only beating a terrible Western Michigan team 26-13

Best Game: The win over Miami, which proved they could compete outside the American Conference

52.5

Oklahoma State (10-3, 7-2 Big 12) falls after losing the Cotton Bowl to Mizzou 41-31.
